Hi.

Now that London Fashion Week is well under way, my Instagram newsfeed (and that of most people I know), appears overloaded with fashion content. While I embrace this wholeheartedly, it made me wonder — who do I actually follow that inspires me? Who, whether or not it’s fashion week, shares valuable, positive fashion content? Rather quickly, I devised this list of my top 5…

1. Rebecca Tembo: Alongside her day-job in the fashion industry, Rebecca runs her own custom eveningwear brand, Rebecca Tembo. On her page, Rebecca documents both the highs and lows of having a side hustle. She’s the realest.

2. Zanna Van Djik: While I initially followed her for fitness videos, the fact that she’s building an ocean plastic sustainable swimwear brand, Stay Wild Swim, is pretty cool. Through her IG story and posts, she cleverly surveys her followers on what they want her to produce (all while documenting her journey as a newbie fashion entrepreneur). PLUS she’s an Adidas ambassador.

3. Caroline Issa: Her killer outfits are reason enough. Caroline Issa runs @tankmagazine and @becausemagazine, all while travelling the world and managing to know everyone. PLUS she’s really nice and usually replies to DMs / mentions!

4. Harriet Stewart: Former Fashion Editor of Elle UK, and current head of styling at YNAP, Harriet has a style (and career) that’s covetable yet chill. Her captions are hilarious, and she’s a great reminder that there are plenty of nice people in fashion!

5.  Anabel Maldonado: Founder of @thepsychologyoffashion and freelance journalist, Anabel shares her adventures in the trenches of the fashion industry (and around the world). I follow her for positivity and life inspiration! You can also listen to my podcast with her HERE.
